Méthode Champenoise Sparkling Wines

While many wineries inject still wines with carbon dioxide (CO2) gas to render them effervescent, Wolf Mountain Vineyards produces sparkling wines using the French-style Méthode Champenoise requiring secondary fermentation in the bottle.

Blanc de Blancs Brut

Meaning “white from whites“, this dry sparkling Chardonnay expresses our signature style. Light yet complex, our Blanc de Blancs offers a crisp, fruity and elegant style of sparkling wine. Hints of citrus, spice notes and crisp acidity make this our premier sparkling wine. This wine is exquisite with a light citrus salad, caviar or crab cakes.

Brut Rosé

Our Brut Rosé is produced by adding a small amount of our dry red blend Claret to the dosage, which imparts a beautiful light salmon color. This process adds more complexity and red berry flavors to the sparkling wine without overwhelming the delicate flavors in the base wine. Sparkling rosé’s are some of the most festive wines available and are certain to be a hit at any gathering. Wonderful with richer foods such as smoked duck breast.

Sparkling Syrah Brut

Unique to Wolf Mountain, our Sparkling Syrah Brut is produced by creating a base wine of whole cluster pressed Syrah from our family estate. Once re-fermented in bottle and following aging on the yeast, the dosage incorporates a small amount of our Howling Wolf Red to enhance red wine flavors and complexity.
