From Florida with love…

My husband and I recently spent a week in northeast Georgia during our vacation whereby we rented a mountain cabin in Hiawassee. Your winery and vineyards were the highlight of our trip. We thought we would miss our lunch appointment this past Sunday and called to cancel. We did, however, arrive later at your winery – around 1:40 PM. One of your waiters said we could still eat and be seated immediately if we could be done prior to your 2:30 seating. We felt that was certainly doable with just the two of us and he sat us outside on your terrace.

Oh, what a view! The fall colors, the rolling land with the grape vineyards, the mountains behind, just the prettiest winery I have been to in the U.S.A. The buffet meal was absolutely fantastic and all the deserts were delicious. My sparkling white wine was very good and my husband, Barry, enjoyed his red wine. We bought a couple of bottles upon finishing our lovely lunch.

Thanks so much for being able to accomodate us, even though we were late. Your winery is the best and your setting cannot be beat! We are telling all of our Florida friends and family to be sure to visit your vineyards!

My husband and I would like to thank Lindsay Smith and staff at Wolf Mountain for a most lovely and enjoyable wedding for our daughter Brooke Turner and new son-in-law, Sam. Everything was very professional and to our satisfaction. The facility was beautiful, the food was excellent and everyone was most accomodating.

All of our guests expressed their approval and commented on the very good time they had.
We would not hesitate to recommend Wolf Mountain Vineyards to anyone looking for a venue for any occasion. We look forward to participating in some of the upcoming festivities.

From the Winery & Vineyard

Well, we have enjoyed a little time off this month as we all traveled to Napa and then Sacramento for the Unified Wine Conference. We visited some first growth vineyards in the valley and tasted some magnificent wines.

So then it was back to Georgia to finish bottling our own sparkling wines so they will be ready for the 2011 season. We are also getting ready for our Wine Club Blending Seminar and Dinner which will be held on Saturday, February 26th at 5pm. If you are not already in our Wine Club, this is the year to join with even more exclusive benefits.

Call us for reservations in March as we go back to our full hours of operation. We will serve our Vineyard Cafe Lunch Thurs-Sat and our End the Winter Blues with Live Jazz Brunch on Sundays. Also mark your calendar for the 3rd Annual Wine Highway Weekend on Friday, March 18th-Sunday, March 20th.

8th Annual Valentine Gourmet Dinner & Sunday Brunch

Our Valentine Gourmet Dinner will be held on Saturday, February 12th at 7pm, but unfortunately we are already sold out! No need to worry though, we still have space for our Valentine Sunday Brunch!

Make your reservation early to enjoy our Valentine Brunch on Sunday, February 13th complete with all your Southern favorites prepared by Executive Chef Daniel Atwood. The cost is $30 per person plus tax and gratuity and wine is available by the glass or bottle at an additional price. Seating times are at 12:30 & 2:30pm. Vineyard Café

Our Vineyard Café is open for lunch on Saturdays and Sundays in February beginning Sunday the 6th from 12-3pm. Come by to taste our gourmet menu items while enjoying our breathtaking views. Reservations are required for cafe lunch.

Tasting Room

Sample Wolf Mountain wines in our Winery Tasting Room. Taste our Estate Wines for $10 or enjoy our Reserve Tasting for $20. The Tasting Bar is open in February on Saturday from 12-5pm and Sunday from 12:30-5pm.

Hello everyone at Wolf Mountain,

We wanted to take a moment and thank you all for making our wedding so wonderful. It was everything we hoped it would be! The venue was so beautiful, the food and wine were delicious, the service was outstanding and even the weather cooperated (for the most part!)

We are back home in Australia now and are settling in to married life. We got off to a beautiful start as man and wife thanks to all of you!

We just wanted to tell you all what a great job you did with Kimberly’s wedding. Everything was top notch; the food, the wine and the staff made this event one of the best weddings we have ever attended. And we just wanted everyone to know how much we appreciate all the hard work you put into this event.
